Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for credit purchases on anims.ai, operated by Hangzhou Wuaiyou Network Technology Co., Ltd. Purchases are processed by Paddle as our merchant of record; Paddle handles the actual disbursement of approved refunds.
Free Trial / Initial Credits
New accounts may receive a small amount of free credits to evaluate the Service before purchasing. Please use these to confirm the Service meets your needs before paying.
14-Day Refund Window
You may request a full refund within 14 days of a credit purchase if:
- You have not used any of the credits from that purchase, or
- The Service had a substantive defect that prevented you from using the credits as advertised, and we were unable to resolve it within a reasonable time.
Partial refunds may be granted at our discretion for partially used purchases on a case-by-case basis.
Job Failures
If a generation job fails due to a fault on our side (infrastructure error, model timeout, internal pipeline crash), the credits for that job are automatically refunded to your balance. No action is needed on your part.
Failures caused by your input (invalid image, prompt rejected by the underlying model, etc.) are not eligible for credit refund. We will surface a clear error message in those cases.
Not Eligible for Refund
- Credits already used to generate outputs (the work was performed and third-party costs incurred).
- Purchases more than 14 days old, except where required by consumer protection law.
- Subjective dissatisfaction with the quality of generated outputs (we recommend trying a smaller plan first).
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service or Content Policy.
- Charges arising from compromise of your account credentials due to your failure to safeguard them.
How to Request a Refund
Email contact@wuiyou.com with:
- Your account email or user ID
- The Paddle transaction ID or order date
- The reason for the refund request
We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Effect of Refund
When a refund is approved, the corresponding credits are removed from your balance. If you have already spent some of the refunded credits, your balance may go negative — you will need to top up before resuming paid usage. Repeated refund requests after credit usage may result in account suspension.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved more quickly directly. Chargebacks automatically trigger credit revocation and account review; fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account ban.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory consumer rights under the laws of your jurisdiction (e.g., the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the UK Consumer Rights Act). If you believe you are entitled to a refund under such law, email us and we will process it accordingly.
